Today at the library there was a bat lady with 2 alive bats and they were about this small. I took my classroom mascot named mittens and it was also my turn to take it home today. It really meant alot of things to me to learn about. one was named sonic and the other was named Bruce. I really like their names because sonic reminds me of the olympic games. and bruce is a good name because its a cute name and since its a boy it is really cool.

I like the name sonic too. It means sound, and that's how bats can see in the dark - they use sound and their big ears to see with their ears. It's neat. It also reminds me of a game called Sonic the Hedgehog that is probably older than you are!!
Thank you for the coment about the bat lady and do you have any bats? I have a cat who is 4 years old and her name is Azrael and she drives me nuts and she does crazy things. Today we went on a hey ride at Blue Jay orchards in bethel. I aprecite it when you said you liked the name sonic. Sonic actuly reminds me of the olympic games on Tv like sonic the hedge hog. Today we also went to go see HSM 3 seionor year and it was awsome.
